History

PENSHOPPE is the flagship brand of Golden ABC, Inc., a leading fashion house from the Philippines. The brand is known for its sophisticated take on casual wear and is the top of the mind fashion brand in the country today.

Established in Cebu in ***6, the brand initially conquered the Visayas and Mindanao markets. Penshoppe then expanded to Metro Manila and the first boutique opened its doors in SM City North EDSA in ***1. Since then, Penshoppes network of stores has grown to over **0 sites, all strategically located in the key areas where its target demographic shopped.

With its **-year strong heritage in up-to-date, global design and style; innovative marketing and advertising campaigns and strategies; and keen business acumen, Penshoppe is poised and rearing to bring its own unique brand of casual wear to the rest of the world.
 

After dominating the Philippine retailing industry, Penshoppe started to go global starting with Dubai, opening their first store in the reef mall. After a partnership with a local Indonesian conglomerate, Penshoppe opened a boutique in the Central Park Square. Penshoppe is now considering other Asian markets such as Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and even Australia., the brand had Nikki Gil, Heart Evangelista and Jericho Rosales as their local celebrity models. Some of the current local celebrity endorsers include Mikael Daez, Victor Basa, Solenn Heussaff, Bea Soriano and Akihiro Sato.

The brand previously had Mandy Moore as a celebrity endorser back in ***1. In ***1, the brand signed Gossip Girl Ed Westwick as an international celebrity endorser. Thai actor Mario Maurer signed a contract with PR Asia to become an international endorser for the clothing brand. In April ***2, the company announced that Zac Efron would also be endorsing the clothing brand and was set to visit the Philippines later that year. In May ***2, American actor and model Ian Somerhalder a.k.a Damon Salvatore of the CW Television Networks The Vampire Diaries, announced he was to endorse Penshoppe. In May ***2, Leighton Meester who is also a Gossip Girl cast member, became an endorser for Penhshoppes campaign All Stars. Later in October ***2, Penshoppe announced via its Twitter account that the brand will be endorsed by One Direction. Recently, it was announced by Nina Dobrev, another star from The Vampire Diaries, is also endorsing the brand. Most recently, a leading star from the hit showRevenge, Josh Bowman, was announced to be endorsing Penshoppe.
